Julia E. Ortiz, age 64 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Born in Vineland on July 17, 1956 to Carmen L. Morales and the late Julio Ortiz, Julia was a graduate of Vineland High School. She became a certified phlebotomist and later was employed as a laborer by Patriot Glass and Manischewitz Foods. A woman of true faith, Julia loved her church, the Chestnut Assembly of God, she enjoyed listening to gospel music, singing, praising and worshiping. Julia was a volunteer at the soup kitchen and was always at her happiest when serving the less fortunate and the Lord.

She cherished sharing time with her family and friends and will be forever loved and missed by her two daughters; Stephanie Ortiz of Millville and Cristina Ortiz and fiancé Roberto Rodriguez of Vineland. Julia is also survived by her mother, Carmen L. Morales of Vineland and by her 5 grandchildren; Kristopher, Xavier, Ian, Christopher and Christian, and her great-grandson Cameron. Along with her 4 siblings; Victor Ortiz, Albert Ortiz, Maria Ortiz and Elsie Ortiz.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, Jan. 13th from 9:30-11:00 am at the Chestnut Assembly of God Church, 2554 E. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Tony Cotto officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
