Its with a heavy heart the Lugo family would like to announce the passing of their father Julio Cesar Lugo, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2020 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden NJ due to natural causes.
He was born June 3rd 1951 in Adjuntas Puerto Rico to the late Victor Manuel Lugo and late Sara Rodriguez. He is survived by his children his daughters Mayra (Moya) Roman, Maria Lugo, Marilyn Lugo Acevedo and his son Julio C. Lugo Jr. (Chu-cho). His grandchildren Elvin, Lenitza and Rosalyn Roman, Yozelyn Soto, Amaya Santiago, Luis A. Acevedo Jr, Xia Liz Hinojosa and Julioangel Lugo. One great grandchild Anthony Antunez. He has two surviving brothers Juan Carlos Lugo and Victor M. Gonzalez. Predeceased by his brother Julio Enrique Lugo (Papo). Julio had many loving nephews and nieces. For his last job he worked for J F Gillespie Inc (Vineland) for 4 years as a construction worker and prior to he worked many years in landscaping. One of his passions was spending time with his family and friends and playing dominoes and watching his baseball (Phillies of course). His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, cooking, gardening, and raising chickens and also spending time in the casinos. Julio was a loving, caring, humble, straight forward human being. He is known to his family and friends as a jokester and a very blunt person if you met him or had an conversation with him you would exactly know how honest he was.
Services will be at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral 1024 E Landis Ave Vineland NJ 08360, on Saturday September 19, 2020 from 3-5 P.M. family and friends are welcomed, creamation will follow after the service so that he can be reunited with his loving wife Luz Mayra Lugo Carreras of 45 years who passed away June 10, 2020.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
