Karina E. Castillo, age 29 of Pine Hill, NJ, formerly of Vineland, NJ, passed away tragically too soon in a car accident on April 3, 2024.

Karina was born in Philadelphia, PA to her parents, Fernando and Evelyn Castillo. Karina was a social worker within the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, the Division of Protection and Permanency. She graduated with a Master's degree in marriage and family therapy. She was licensed by the Board of Marriage and Family therapy.

Karina's passion was helping others. She accomplished her goal by touching and changing one life at a time. Her smile, light and positivity would fill a room. Karina's dedication to her baby, her spouse and her family was immeasurable.

Karina is lovingly survived by her baby daughter, Graciela M. Blount of Pine Hill. Her fiancé, Joseph F. Blount III of Pine Hill. Her parents; Fernando and Evelyn Castillo of Vineland. Her brother, Fernando Castillo Jr. and by her sister, Fernanda Y. Castillo, both of Vineland. She will also be immensely and lovingly remembered and missed by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Karina's light will continue to glow in doing the Lord's work.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, April, 11, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Cremation will be private.
