Katherine Elizabeth Pooley, age 93 of Sewell (formerly of Millville), passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Advanced Subacute Rehabilitation Center, Sewell, NJ.

Katherine was born in Vineland to the late Milford and Margaret (Baker) Kandle and was a resident of Millville for most of her life.  She graduated from Vineland High School with the Class of 1943.  After raising her children, Katherine was employed by Prudential Insurance Co. of Millville as an accounting clerk for many years.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing cards and traveling with her friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Jack Pooley in 1986.

Katherine is survived by 4 loving children, 3 sons; Jack Pooley and wife Karen of Tampa, FL., Brian Pooley and wife Diane of Pittsgrove Twp., NJ and Keith Pooley of Millville and her daughter Brenda Calabro and husband Gregory of Maplewood, NJ.  Her 3 grandchildren; Adam, Brett and Nicole, along with other extended family and friends.

The family of Katherine wishes to thank everyone at Advanced Subacute who cared for her with such love and her devoted friends who visited and cared for her at home.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.  Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 am.
