Kathleen "Kathy" Carlson (nee Reynolds) – 58, of Vineland, NJ passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, after a short and sudden illness.

A graduate of Vineland High School, Kathy married her sweetheart, Craig Carlson, and left immediately to start their 12-year St. Maarten adventure.

Kathy and Craig returned to Vineland to start their family, their daughters Lauren and Leann were born, and they remained in Vineland, close to family and life-long friends.  She was an amazing woman who left us too soon. Kathy was so peaceful, loving, empathetic, and absolutely a beautiful person inside and out. She was a mother to all the friends of her daughters. She spent every day with her cat while updating Facebook and cooking a fabulous meal we all enjoyed. One of her favorite hobbies was decorating bird houses, as she always had an artistic flair.  She loved watching the wildlife in her yard and had a unique relationship with the visiting squirrels. She was proud of her accomplishments in St. Maarten and lived a beautiful life in Vineland NJ.  We will forever love her and miss her.

She lives on through her devoted husband Craig Carlson, her cherished daughters, Lauren, and Leann, her mother Madeline, sister Karen and her husband Joseph, brother-in-law Jerry Davenport, beloved nieces and nephews, many friends, and her cat, Molly.  She was predeceased by her father Sheffield Reynolds and sister Marlene Davenport.

Family and friends will gather for a viewing o n Tuesday, May 17 th from 7:00-9:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 East Landis Avenue, Vineland.  Burial will be private.
