Kenny Rivera, 57 years of age, from Vineland passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Inspira Medical Center of Vineland.

Kenny was born April 8, 1967, in Manhattan, New York but lived in Millville, NJ the majority of his life.

He worked as security for Vineland Public Schools and was recently employed at Amazon.

He is predeceased by his father, Jose Rivera Sr., mother, Olga (Rodriguez) Rivera, sister, Arlene Rivera and son, Kenny Rivera Jr. He is survived by his companion of 27 years, Sonia Flores; brothers, Joe (Elsa) Rivera and Glenn Rivera; children, Jackel (Sergio) Sanchez, Orlando Flores (Elaina), Melissia (Charles) Sistrunk; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny was a man of few words but had a huge heart. Kenny loved all things baseball, especially the Yankees.  He was also an avid New York Giants fan. He enjoyed beach days with his sweetie and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his coaching days and cheering the team on. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends may gather for his viewing at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, on Monday, February 10th from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by Kenny's funeral service at 11:00 AM. Kenny will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
