In Loving Memory of Konrad Krummp
February 10, 1939 – November 3, 2026
Konrad Krummp passed away peacefully at his home on November 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on February 10, 1939, in Berlin, Germany, Konrad lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, passion, and an unwavering love for his family and community. He proudly served in the United States Army in the Tank Division and was honorably discharged.
A true athlete at heart, Konrad was a diehard soccer fan, player, and coach. His passion for the game extended far beyond the field. He dedicated over 10 years of service to the Vineland Youth Soccer Association, where he helped train, mentor, shape, and develop generations of young athletes. He believed in the value of teamwork, discipline, and hard work, and he shared those lessons with everyone fortunate enough to play under his guidance.
When he wasn't on the soccer field, you could often find Konrad enjoying Sunday mornings on the tennis courts with the guys. A fierce competitor and natural athlete, he loved the challenge of the game, the camaraderie of his friends, and the opportunity to compete. Whether on the soccer field or tennis court, Konrad's competitive spirit and love of sports left a lasting impression on those around him.
Konrad was also a respected local businessman and proud owner of Konrad Plumbing and Heating, serving the Vineland community for over 40 years. Through decades of hard work, commitment, and dedication, he built more than a business; he built relationships and became a familiar and trusted part of the community he called home.
Above all, Konrad was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Hildegard; his son, Kirk; his daughter-in-law, Jacqueline; and his two beloved grandchildren, Konner and Kadence, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.
Konrad will be remembered as a hardworking man, a passionate athlete, a dedicated coach, a loyal friend, and a loving family man. His competitive spirit, strong work ethic, guidance, and the countless memories he created will live in the hearts of all who knew him.
His legacy is not only in the business he built, the teams he coached, or the games he played, but in the family he loved, the young lives he influenced, and the community he served for so many years.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Following the service, Konrad will be laid to rest in Northville Lutheran Cemetery, Upper Deerfield, NJ.
