Kun Pae Yi, age 89 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Born in Korea, Kun attended school in Tokyo and served in the Korean Army. He was a journalist, a printer and a wholesale distributor. Kun was a resident of Vineland for over 25 years and enjoyed record keeping, calligraphy and sharing time with his family. He was a genuine and happy man who always shared a smile and a thank you. He was predeceased by his daughter Chung Stokes in 1996. Kun is survived by his 5 children; Kun H. Martin, of Uncasville, Ct., Youngsik Yi of Vineland, Hongsik Yi, Moonsik Yi and Kyoung Whe, all of Korea.13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. The viewing will be on Friday from 11:00am - 12:00pm at the funeral home.
