Kurt Ferguson, age 67 of Fairfield Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at home with his wife Carol by his side.

Kurt was born in Millville to the late Robert and Verna V. (Levick) Ferguson Jr. and he lived in Fairfield Twp. most of his life. Kurt graduated from Millville High School Class of 1972.

Kurt retired in 2009 as a Sergeant with the New Jersey Dept. of Corrections. He was a long time member of the Fairton Christian Center. Kurt was a Royal Ranger Commander and member of the Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship. He was a licensed Evangelist of The Fellowship and president of Faithful Providence Ministries. He completed missionary work in Haiti, Poland, St. Maarten and local nursing homes.

Kurt loved music and was an avid guitarist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycles and karate.

He was predeceased by his brother, Dreu Ferguson Sr.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Carol (Trapp) Ferguson of Fairfield Twp. One daughter, Miki Michelle Ferguson of Absecon and his son, Joshua Nate Ferguson of Virginia. Also two granddaughters, Paige Marie Stevens of Naples, Florida and Raquel Stark of Ocean City, NJ. Two brothers, Robert Ferguson III and his wife Riesa of Linwood, NJ and Bruce Ferguson and his wife Denise of Pittsgrove, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gerritt Kenyon officiating at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Burial will follow in Willow Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday.
