Laura Rosa (Sanchez) Rivera, age 90 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Laura was born in Morovis, Puerto Rico to the late Guillermo and Salvadora (Morales) Sanchez and she was a resident of Vineland for the past 40 years. Laura was a strong and faithful member of the Pentecostal religion and enjoyed cooking, gardening and sharing time with her family.

She was predeceased by her son Henry Vega.

Laura is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Juan M. Rivera of Vineland.  Her 2 sons; Dominic Vega and his wife Lori of Sun City, Az. And James Vega and wife Susan of Pawleys Island, S.C.  and her daughter Laura R. Somerville and her husband Shawn of Vineland.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with 2 sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24th at 9:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm and again on Saturday morning from 8:00-9:00 am at the funeral home.
