Leona M. Bodine, age 86 of Vineland and a resident of Bishop McCarthy Nursing Center, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 27, 2013 at SJ Healthcare, Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Born on February 27, 1927 to the late Henry and Violetta (Kinter) Stiles in Vandergrifth, Pennsylvania, Leona moved to New Jersey in 1959 and has been a resident of Vineland for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and bird watching. Leona was predeceased by her first husband Lawrence Conrad in 1977, her second husband George Bodine in 1985 and by her infant son Merle. She was also predeceased by her brother Harry Stiles, of Ohio and her sisters; Dorothy Ober of PA and Charlotte Phelps of TX. Leona is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Conrad of Vineland and her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Phyllis Conrad of Wildwood. 4 granddaughters; Tricia Kopreski of Vineland, Heather Schum, Shannon Conrad and Kelly Conrad, all of Wildwood. Her grandson David and wife Rebecca Conrad of Wildwood and 4 great-grandsons; Randall, David, Ed and Brendon. Leona is also survived by her 4 sisters; Jessie Barrickman of W. VA., Mildred Justice of Ohio, Alice Stutzman of WI and Ellen Clark and her husband Bill of Ohio. 2 brothers; James Stiles and A. Dale Stiles both of TX. Her sisters-in-law; Mary Ann Stiles of Ohio and Nancy Cruley of PA, and her brother-in-law David Powell of NC. Also many nieces and nephews. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.
