Leonida Jimenez, age 68 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at home. Leonida was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico to the late Valeriano and Dionisia (Hernandez) Crespo and was a resident of Vineland for 5 years. She was a homemaker and member of the New Life Tabernacle Church of Vineland. Leonida enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for her family and serving the Lord. She was predeceased by her husband Felipe Jimenez in 1992. Leonida is survived by her 6 sons; Bienvenido Jimenez, Benedicto Jimenez, Ruperto Jimenez, Elaidio Jimenez, Luis Jimenez, and Alejandro Jimenez. 5 daughters; Ana D. Jimenez, Ivette Jimenez, Marilyn Jimenez, Maria E. Jimenez and Elizabeth Jimenez. Also by 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 10:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Alberto Torres officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
