Lillian Grace Eager (nee Olan), age 90 of Buena Vista Township, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

She is survived by her loving husband James, her two daughters; Linda Eager and Sharon Tirrell , her son-in-law Russell, granddaughters; Tracy Tirrell and Allison Tirrell , her sister Virginia Allen, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and their progeny.

Lillian was born on June 7, 1927 to parents Louis and Grace Olan (nee Osworth).  She grew up in Morristown, NJ where her father was a watchmaker/jeweler.  She graduated from Berkley Secretarial School in East Orange, NJ and went to work for the Morris County Savings Bank.  Her Morristown High School sweetheart, ' Jimmy ', returned from Germany upon completion of his services to the U.S. Army Airforce and the two were married in October 1948.  In 1956, the family moved to Vineland where Jim worked for Prudential Insurance and Lillian managed the household : cooking, cleaning, sewing, gardening and raising their two girls.  In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and became an avid bridge player.

Lillian joined the local garden club and the Vineland Woman's Club.  She served on the V W C's scholarship committee and acted as club Treasurer for many years and in 1982 she served as the club's President.  In 1996, Lill and Jim moved to Buena Vista Township.  Lillian enjoyed attending many Masonic, Shriner and Jester events with her husband Jim.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 1:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Family and friends may gather from 12:00-1:00 pm.  Interment will be private.
