Linda Ann Sheldon, age 74 of Franklinville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born in Woodbury to the late Reginal and Helen (Kummer) Maden and she lived in Franklinville most of her life. She graduated from Clayton High School Class of 1968, where she was an accomplished basketball player with Hall of Fame honors.

Linda was a member of the Franklin Township Senior Citizens Group.

She was predeceased by one brother, Jerry Maden.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, John R. Sheldon of Franklinville and one son, Robert Sheldon (Ashley) of Vineland, along with two granddaughters, Ariyah and Leona Sheldon at home. Also one sister, Helen Dahl (Bill) of Williamstown and several nieces and nephews.

Linda's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Heather Sugden officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
