Lois J. Gavigan, age 90, of Vineland passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Baker House Assisted Living Facility in Vineland.

Lois was born in Vineland to the late Vivian (Mick) and Norman Babbitt. Lois was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her brothers, Ron and Bruce.

Lois is survived by her five children and their spouses, Kathy (Bill) Downey, Megory (Matt) Rabbai, Brian (Patti) Gavigan, Steven (Denise) Gavigan and Ron (Marylou) Gavigan, her niece Nancy (Babbitt) Moore (Judd) eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Vineland High School in 1951.

Lois was a telephone operator for Vineland City Hall, a full-time mom until she went to work for the family business, Babbitt Mfg. with her husband and three sons.

Lois belonged to the Vineland Women's Club, enjoyed playing bridge, dancing with her husband, autumn vacations, and long days on the beach with her family and friends.

A private service was held by the family. Interment was in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
