Lois Middleton passed away peacefully among her family on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at home.

Lois was born in New Orleans, LA to the late George and Louise (Soniat-Dufossat) Burg and was a
resident of Vineland since 1963. She was a graduate of Loyola College. Lois was a member of Vineland Junior Women's Club and Women's Club, the Service Club Council, Sacred Heart Church Council, the Vineland Garden Club as well as The Pearls. Lois returned often to New Orleans, enjoying Mardi Gras, particularly the Krewe of Prometheus, with her husband, family and friends. Lois and Bruce spent many summers on their sailboat Prometheus, sailing out of Ocean City, NJ up and down the East Coast of the U.S.

Lois is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Bruce A. Middleton, of Vineland and three children, Bruce A. Middleton Jr. Esq. of Philadelphia, Craig and Diane Middleton of Egg Harbor Township and William and Maira Middleton of Ocean City NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brielle and Brooke of Ocean City and Jackson of Egg Harbor Township and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM from the Wainright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 East Landis Ave. Vineland on Monday, August 22, 2022. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday, prior to the service.
