Luis O. Acosta, age 47 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Cooper Medical Center, Camden, surrounded by his loving family.

Luis was born in Vineland to Osbaldo and Aida (Arocho) Acosta and was raised by his late father Jaime Montalvo. He was a lifelong Vineland resident. He was a presser for DeRossi & Son Clothing Co. of Vineland for ten years.

Luis was known as "DJ Louie" and his passion was music.

He is survived by his mother, Aida (Arocho) Acosta of Vineland. Seven siblings, Ingrid Montalvo, William Arocho, Donna Montalvo, Alberto Acosta, Angel Acosta, Aida Acosta and Julia Acosta, all of Vineland. Also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 31 ^st , 2017 at 7:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.

Burial will be private. Family and friends may gather from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday in the Funeral Home.
