Luis A. Perez, age 64, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Luis was born on December 13, 1961 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico and lived a life filled with joy, music, and a deep love for his family.
Luis was known for his vibrant spirit and his love of singing and dancing. Whether at family gatherings or simply enjoying a moment at home, he brought energy and warmth to those around him. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
He dedicated many years of service working in maintenance at Schalick High School, where he was respected for his hard work and reliability. He also served as a security staff member at Vineland High School, contributing to the safety and well-being of the school community.
Luis was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Maria Rodriguez and Antonio Perez.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Madeline Colon; his daughter, Denisha; his granddaughters Sahirie, Marelyne, Luna; his son, Juan; his sister, Maribel; and his brothers, Miguel and Rolando. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Luis’s memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the music he loved, and the strong bonds he created with those closest to him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Pastor Yolanda Nieves officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday.
