Luis Benito Vasquez, age 83 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Luis was born in Toa Alto, Puerto Rico to the late Benito and Raymunda (Rosado) Vasquez, he has been a resident of Vineland for 26 years.  Prior to his retirement, Luis worked as a carpenter for over 25 years with Silverton Yachts and Jensen Marines in Marlboro, NJ.    He was a faithful and devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.  He enjoyed fishing,  spending his days with the Vineland Community Center and watching movies and cartoons.  Most of all, Luis loved to share time with his children and grandchildren.

Luis was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Ana Rosa.

Luis is survived by his 4 children; Maria and husband Luis Rodriguez of Vineland, Carlos and wife Virginia Maldonado of Middletown, NJ, Jesus Manuel and wife Evelyn of S.C. and Jesus Maldonado and fiancé Liz Graves of Vineland.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and by 3 sisters; Juanita Vasquez Mendez of Lawrence Harbor, NJ, Maria Antonia Vasquez of Mass. And Carmen Delia Vasquez of Toa Alto, P.R. and by his brother Felix Vasquez of N.Y.  And also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21 st at 12:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 225 E. Oak Rd. Vineland.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Luis may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
