Madeline Swelto, age 63 of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at home. Madeline was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Augustine and Rosa (Lopez) Rodriguez and was a Vineland resident for most of her life. Prior to retirement, Madeline was a licensed practical nurse with Ancora Psychiatric Hospital of Hammonton. She enjoyed music, dancing and dominoes. She especially loved the Jersey Shore and sharing time with her family and friends. Madeline was predeceased by her husband John R. Swelto in 2011 and also by long-time partner Nelson Muniz in 2012. Madeline is survived by her son, Romando J. Swelto of Vineland. Her daughter, Nicole Swelto and companion Shawn Nsehti of Charlotte, N.C. Her mother Rosa Lopez of Orlando, FL. 7 grandchildren; Ryan, Aiyana, Naisiah, Naijha, Inaijha, Naim and Suniya. Also by her brother, Edwin Rodriguez and wife Maria of Richland, NJ and her sister, Marisol Acevedo and husband Angel of Orlando, FL. and 4 nephews; Edwin, Abdiel, Justin and Leonardo, and by her dog Nicki.
