Magdalena Melendez, age 91, went to be with the lord, on Monday, April 16th, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.  Magdalena is survived by her two children, Sylvia Melendez and Jose (Tony) Melendez (Nilda). Her niece Maria Victoria Garcia, nephew Augustine Alamo; 6 grandchildren, Alexandria Alvarez, Noemi Melendez, Rene Alvarez (Kim), Ivy Melendez, Armando Melendez and Skye McKinnon; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Magdalena was an entrepreneur having ran a successful business in NYC for over 12 years.  She was an active member of the Religious community and a pioneer in establishing City of Refuge Church.
She was well loved in our community and will be sadly missed.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22nd  2018, were family and friends may gathering from 10:30-11:45am at City of Refuge Church, 737 W. Walnut Rd, Vineland 08360. Repass will follow services at the church.
