Manuel Roldan, age 75 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at home.

Better known as "El Yunque", Manuel was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Eduardo and Espernaza (Martinez) Roldan and was a resident of Vineland for over 50 years.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as a van driver for the Vineland Senior Center.  Manuel was a member of the former Vineland Suzuki Club and he enjoyed fishing, dominoes and talking on the CB radio.  Most of all, Manuel loved to share time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his son Richard Roldan and by his sisters, Blanca Nieves and Anna Rosa Guzman.

Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Lourdes Candelario Roldan of Vineland.  His 6 children; Manuel A. Roldan of N.C., Luis Roldan of Vineland, Evelyn Edwards of Mass., Ivette Roldan, Ariel Roldan and Veronica M. Roldan, all of Vineland.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, Nov. 28th at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.  The viewing will be on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
