Margarita Oyola, age 83 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Margarita was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Juana (Oyola) Rodriguez and she lived in Vineland the past 41 years.  Margarita was a housewife, a devoted Catholic and a member of Divine Mercy Parish of Vineland. She was a member of the Cursillistas de Cristandad for 62 years.  Margarita will be sadly missed by all her family and all those who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Victor Manuel Oyola-Rivera, 3 sons, Nelson Oyola, Pablo Rivera and Hector Rivera and 4 brothers, Luciano Rodriguez, Marcelo Nieves, Angel Rodriguez and Epifanio Rodriguez. Also her sisters, Hipolita Berrios, Natasha Nieves and Petra Nieves.

Survivors include 6 sons, Victor J. "Cheo Cidra" Oyola, Carlos Oyola, Hector Oyola, Oscar Oyola and his wife Daisy, Felix Oyola and his wife Julia and Angel Rivera and his wife Grissel. Six daughters, Zoraida Vega and her husband Alberto, Nelida Robles, Lucy Rodriguez and her husband Roberto, Nilsa Balbuena and her husband Eduardo, Ruth Oyola and Elizabeth Balbuena and her husband Jorge. Also 36 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 7 sisters, 1 brother and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, September 19th at 12:30 PM from the Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland, NJ 08360. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.

Family and friends may gather in the CHURCH on Monday (Tonight) from 7:00-9:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 11:00 AM till 12:15 PM in the church, prior to the liturgy.
