Margarita Perez, age 85 of Vineland (formerly of Landisville) went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Margarita was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico to the late Santiago Ruiz and Marciana Crespo, and she lived in Landisville most of her life. She was a hard-working mother who loved to cook, dance, sing and attend the casinos, but mostly she loved family gatherings.

Margarita is predeceased by her late husband of many years, Jose Ernesto Perez. Survivors include her eight loving children, Iris (Perez) Echevarria (Abel) of Vineland, Jose Antonio Perez (Evelyn) of Vineland, Ernesto Perez of Jacksonville, Florida, Aida Perez (Erick) of Vineland, Blanca Perez (Marvin) of Bridgeton, Luiz Perez of Vineland, Elizabeth Perez (Tito) of Clewiston Florida and Minerva Scogna (Ben) of Malaga. Also 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM from the Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, with Monsignor Victor Muro officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather in Church on Friday from 9-10 AM.
