Maria Elena Gomez, age 91, of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Maria was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Ricardo and Trinidad (Crespo) Ramos and she lived in Vineland.

Maria loved the casinos and her lottery scratchers. She was full of life and enjoyed music and dancing to all types of music. She enjoyed cooking for her children and took pleasure in making them what they liked! Maria's caring and generous nature touched everyone she met. She was deeply devoted to God…she always started and ended her day in prayer.

Maria was a devoted and loving mother, whose strength and faith will always serve as an example to guide her family. She will be deeply missed!

She was predeceased by her husband, Quintino Gomez Gonzalez in 2008.

Maria is survived by her 7 loving children, Carmen, Julio, Maria, Charlie, Rosie, Junior and Eddie. Also 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM in the funeral home, prior to her service. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
