Maria De Los Angeles Lopez-Castro, age 47 of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded in love by her family, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Maria was born on June 6, 1973 in the Bronx, New York to Faustino Lopez and Virginia Castro and was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. Maria loved the Lord with all her heart, she was a member of the La Gran Cana Church in Millville with Pastor Gregory and Ilia DeJesus. Maria's favorite saying was "I am in Victory".  She enjoyed listening to Christian Music and playing the Maracas and truly cherished her time shared with family and friends.

Maria was predeceased by her mother Virginia Castro.

Maria is survived by her father, Faustino Lopez, her 3 sisters; Virginia Gonzalez, Rosa Lopez and Haydee Burgos and by her 2 brothers; Francisco Lopez and Orlando Gonzalez. Maria will also be loved and remembered by her 3 nieces; Stephanie Gonzalez, Diana Rivera and Yobany Marti, along with her nephew Jose T. Gonzalez and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.

Maria's family wishes to extend all their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Dargan of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Camden and Dr. Parmar of Vineland, for their excellent care and genuine compassion.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, May 24th at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Monday from 11:00 – 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
