Maria C. Marti, age 80, of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12 ^th 2017 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Maria was born in Utuado, P.R. to the late Santiago and Rosa (Lisojo) Marrero and lived in Vineland most of her life.

She was a homemaker. Maria was a member of Divine Mercy Parish of Vineland and active in the Legion of Mary group. She was a devoutly

religious person. Maria always recited the rosary and prayed for others, along with visiting the ill. She enjoyed sharing time with family and friends.

Maria was predeceased by her husband Wilfredo Marti and two sons, Edwin Marti and Alexi Marti Sr.

Survivors include 5 children, Rosa M. Marti (Gilbert Maldonado) of Vineland, Wilfredo Marti Jr. of Wildwood, Yobany Marti (Michael Alfe) of Vineland, Santiago Marti of Atlantic City and Rafael Marti (Nancy) of Vineland. Also 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 6 brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, June 20 ^th 2017 at 11:00 AM from Divine Mercy Parish; Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 410 S. 8 ^th Street Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Viewing will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM Monday  at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, and on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the CHURCH, prior to the liturgy.
