Maria E. Santiago-Torres, age 71 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Maria was born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon and Juana (Santiago) Santiago. She has been a resident of Vineland for the past 26 years and a member of the Divine Mercy Parish of Vineland. Maria was a housewife and enjoyed cooking, caring for her plants and traveling. Maria loved to share time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pedro Torres Sr. and by her son Carlos Torres.

Maria is survived by her 4 loving children; Pedro Torres Jr., Rosa Torres and Ericka Perez (Luis), all of Vineland and Yadira Torres (Marcie) of Tampa, FL. Her 12 cherished grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Along with her brother Pedro Santiago of Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Monsignor Victor Muro officiating. Interment will follow the service in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather for the viewing on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home and also on Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 am, prior to the service.
