Marie J. Poggi, age 95 of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on December 28, 2020.

Born in Mizpah, NJ to the late Vincent and Grace Prisinzano, Marie was predeceased by her five sisters and two brothers. She was a loving wife to her late husband of sixty-five years, Libero Poggi. A graduate of Vineland High School, Marie founded Marie Poggi's Ravioli and Tortellini Co. in 1955 which is still owned and operated by her family. She was an avid golfer and loved to dance. Marie was the life of the party and always had a joke for you. She truly enjoyed sharing time with her family and friends.

Marie will be missed by her two children; Joseph Poggi and wife Lori and Denise Shepherd and husband David. Her three grandchildren; Brecken Pettit (Dan), Kelly Bradley and Samantha Reid (Chris) and by her four great-grandchildren; Bellina, Danny, Elle and Grayson.

The viewing will be held from 9:00-10:00am on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The funeral service will be held privately for the family. Marie will be laid to rest alongside of her beloved husband Libero at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. A celebration of Marie's life will be held and announced at a later date when it is safe for all to gather together.  Masks and social distancing are kindly required while in the funeral home.
