Martha Goff (nee Lahti), 92, of Vineland passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014, at home. Martha was born on March 21, 1921 and raised in Atlantic Mine, MI and moved to Vineland 65 years ago. She was a graduate of Painesdale High School and Suomi College (now Finlandia University). She worked for the Army Air Forces in Detroit and Chicago during World War II. She was the co-owner of National Glass & Plastics, Inc., a manufacturer of laboratory glass equipment in Newfield and worked in the business for many years. Martha was an ordained Deacon in the First Presbyterian Church of Vineland and sang in the church choir for over 60 years. She was also a charter member of the Singing Ambassadors and sang with them for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert who died in August 2012. Martha is survived by her daughters Carolyn (Cassie) of Watchung, NJ, Lois Garner, Nancy Tonetta and husband Rick, all of Vineland; grandchildren Alex and Adam Laird, Dustin Garner, and Amanda, Ricky and Robert Tonetta; and several nieces and nephews A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Vineland, 800 E. Landis Ave. with Rev. John D. Fordyce officiating. Burial will be private. Donations in Martha's name may be made to the First Presbyterian Church at 800 Landis Ave., Vineland.
