Martin Sanchez Ramos, age 99 of Vineland, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1, 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Martin was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico to the late Fabian and Genara (Ramos) Sanchez and was a resident of South Jersey for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, Martin was employed by Resorts International Casino in Atlantic City as a porter. He was a member of the Evangelistic Center Church of Vineland and enjoyed cooking, playing dominoes and sharing time with his family.

He was predeceased by his wife Maria Sanchez, his son Jose Antonio Sanchez and by 2 daughters Maria Bahamond and Luisa "Lisa" Rodriguez.

Martin is survived by his 4 loving children; Pastor Iraida "Kendy" Sanchez, of Vineland, Hector Manuel Sanchez of Vineland, Norma Iris Sanchez of CT., and Luis Angel Sanchez of Queens, NY. He is also survived by his brother Valentin Sanchez-Ramos of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5 ^th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow the service at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.
