Mary T. Haydak, age 90 of Millville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Genesis Eldercare, Millville. Mary was born in Rosenhayn, as one of fourteen children, to the late Michael and Anna (Sadowski) Haydak. She was employed by Uddo Taormina (Progresso Foods) for several years, and also spent many years helping out in her family business, Casey's Market in Vineland. Mary was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish, Church of St. Francis. Some of Mary's most happiest times later in her life were spent at Genesis, where she volunteered in the dining room, did arts and crafts with the residents and also played bingo. In 2014, she was the volunteer of the year at Genesis Eldercare. Mary was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed word search puzzles and sharing time with her family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her 3 sisters; Helen Mayda, Eleanor Dallago and Ruth Dolson. Her 4 brothers; Andrew Haydak, Joseph Haydak, Samuel Haydak and John Haydak. And by her longtime companion, Joseph Gornowski. Mary is survived by her son Michael Gornowski and companion Linda Burke of Vineland. Her daughter Anne and husband Matt Artrip of Maryland. Her granddaughter Rochelle Burke and companion Robert Bracall of Vineland and great-grandchildren, Bobby and Ryan Bracall. Mary is also survived by 3 sisters; Stella Messick of Bridgeton, Anne Mannion of Delran and Clara Haydak of Millville. 3 brothers; Michael and wife Dot Haydak, George Haydak and Robert Haydak, all of Bridgeton. Mary also leaves to cherish her memory, many nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart, great and great-great nieces and nephews and several cousins. Also her extended family, the staff and residents of Genesis Eldercare, Millville. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 26th at 11:00 at Padre Pio Parish, 4680 Dante Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Peter Saporito officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Tuesday from 9:00 - 11:00 at the CHURCH.
