Michael F. Corcoran, 84 of Vineland passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Born in Detroit, Michigan to Michael F. Corcoran III and Emily Brezki Corcoran, Michael moved to Vineland as a child and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1947. He was employed as a salesman/manager at Sears for 43 years. He retired with the rank of Master Sgt. from the NJ National Guard. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marie, nee Galetto and his devoted daughters, Colleen Vogel (John) of Medford, NJ and Maureen Corcoran of Basking Ridge, NJ. Michael was the proud Grandpa to Erin Vogel, Caitlin Connors (Brian), Ashley Simone (Andrew) and Aidan Vogel. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Louis and Doris Galetto and sister-in-law Carol Cassisi in addition to many caring nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his parents and his sister Dolorita "Dolly" Cassisi and brother-in-law, Joseph P. Cassisi, his brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Enes Galetto and a niece Sr. M. Pierre Galetto D.M. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Church of St. Isidore, 1655 Magnolia Rd. Vineland, on Saturday, January 17, 2015 with his nephew, Fr. Paul W. Galetto officiating. A viewing will be held at the church between the hours of 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 AM. Michael will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
