Michael O. Slimmer age 57 of Vineland passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Michael was born in Millville to Robert E. and the Ingrid (Lochbihler) Slimmer Sr. and lived in Vineland the past 15 years. Michael graduated from Millville High School Class of 1975. He was a Tow Motor Driver for Gerresheimer Glass Inc. (Kimble Glass Co.) of Vineland for 23 years. He was the former president and current vice-president of Local Union #701 of Vineland. Michael enjoyed sharing time with his son, Michael Jr. and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Michael was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Herbert Slimmer and his mother, Ingrid (Lochbihler) Blough. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Robert E. Slimmer Sr. and wife Ruth of Farmington, Maine. Daughter, Jennifer Ramsey of Florida and son, Michael Slimmer Jr. of Vineland. Half-Brother Darren Blough and his wife Kelli of Millville and his Uncle Ted and Aunt Maggi Lochbihler of Canada. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, NJ 08360 Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
