Milagros Colon, age 78 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at home. Milagros was born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico to the late Justo and Nicolasa (Rodriguez) Colon, she was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. She was a laborer for over 39 years with Progresso Foods. Milagros is survived by her husband of 33 years, Antonio Rivera-Soto of Vineland. 2 sons; Marcelino Perez Jr. and Jose Perez and his companion Nora Maldonado, all of Vineland. Her daughter, Jeny Perez of Vineland. 2 grandsons; Richard Antonio Jose Perez and wife Crystal and Christopher Emmanuel Perez, both of Vineland. 3 brothers; Emelio Colon of Santa Isabel, P.R., Miguel Colon of Jacksonville, Fl. and Alberto Rosa and wife Myrna of Vineland. 1 sister, Luz Maria Colon and husband Juan Herrera of Bronx, NY, and her special God-daughter, Lillian Resto-Luna of Vineland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Juan Boneta officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. The viewing will be from 9:00-11:00am on Friday at the Funeral Home. The family requests no flowers.
