Nehemias Bermudez Sr. age 76 of Vineland, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at home.

Nehemias was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Eladio and Juana (Lugo) Bermudez and lived in Vineland most of his life. Prior to retirement, he was a HVAC Technician for Buena Plumbing and Falasca Mechanical for 30 years. He was a member of the Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, Vineland. Nehemias enjoyed sharing the Gospel with people. He also enjoyed home renovation projects, gardening, music, singing and sharing time with family and friends.

He was predeceased by two sons, Nehemias Bermudez Jr. and Adrian Bermudez.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Elba R. (Rodriguez) Bermudez of Vineland, his daughter, Lydia Bermudez and his son, Edwin Bermudez and wife Sara, all of Vineland. Two granddaughters, Brittany Bermudez and Natalie Rose Bermudez, Four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Xavier, Gabriel and Scarlett Rose. Four sisters, Isabel Bermudez, Elena Rivera, Esther Acosta and Maria Estrella Bermudez, all of Vineland and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7 ^th at 10:00 AM from the Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, 3 ^rd and Quince Sts. Vineland, with Pastor Ramon Maldonado officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are Tuesday 7:00-9:00 PM and again Wednesday 9:00-10:00 AM at the CHURCH.
