Octavio Soler, age 80 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2019 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Octavio was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico to the late Fermin and Maria (Nieves) Soler and was a resident of Vineland for the past 30 years. Prior to his retirement, Octavio worked as a general custodian for the Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Newfield for almost 10 years. He was a member of the Rehoboth Pentecostal Church in Glassboro and enjoyed cooking and sharing time with his family.

Octavio is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ana (Marti) Soler of Vineland. His 2 cherished children; his daughter, Ana Y. Arroyo and her husband Freddy of Vineland and his son, Joel Soler and his wife Rosalyn, all of Vineland. 5 grandchildren; Lynoska Arroyo and Abner Arroyo, Brittney Soler, Joel E. Soler and Stephney Soler. And his 2 great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Adam. He is also survived by 1 brother, 3 sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 6th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am, prior to the service.
