Paul Elia, age 93 of Vineland, passed away Friday, May 6 ^th 2016 at home, after a lengthy illness.

Paul was born in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Anthony and Rose (Monzo) Elia and he lived in Vineland since 1968.

He was a veteran of US Army Air Force serving during WW2. Prior to retirement, Paul was a teacher for Maurice River Township Public Schools for 23 years. He was an active member of

Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael Church of Minotola. Paul enjoyed playing golf and the saxophone.

He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Avolio.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Della (Ricupero) Elia of Vineland. Three sons, Anthony Elia and his wife Kathleen of Sewell, Paul M. Elia and his wife Diana of Philadelphia and Robert Elia and his wife Diane of Mullica Hill. Also three grandchildren, Anthony Thomas Elia, Gabrielle Elia and Lauren Elia, all at home.

Funeral liturgy will be held Tuesday, May 10 ^th 2016 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael Church 504 West Ave. Minotola, NJ 08341. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mausoleum, Vineland.

Friends and family may gather at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the liturgy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be sent to a Charity of one's choice or Inspira Home Care and Hospice, 1138 E. Chestnut Ave. Building  3-B,  Vineland, NJ 08360
