Perserverancia Rivera De La Rosa, born on June 27th, 1925 in Aibonito, PR to Francisco Rivera and Filomena De La Rosa.

Survived by her brother Juan, twin sons David and Anthony, daughter Yolanda, 7 Grandchildren – Christine, Nedra, David Jr, Andrea, Stephen, Charmaine, and Matthew, 12 great grandchildren – Nadine, Arien, Lilly, Noel, Jaylin, Jazmin, Steven, Greyson, Fabbie, Declan, CJ, and Bella, 1 great great grandchild - Jada.

Predeceased by her parents, siblings Maria, David, Sekko, and Julio, as well as her grandson Suki.

This ray of sunshine was adored by family and friends as she was always full of joy. She enjoyed crocheting, art, drawing, sewing, gardening, music, and dancing. Her love of sewing started in Puerto Rico as she became a professional seamstress to help support her family. She created hats, scarfs, blankets, doilies, clothing, and many more. Prior to her children being born, she migrated over to the Bronx, NY to continue her craft. She moved to Bridgeton, NJ in the 1960s then later Seabrook, NJ where she continued her work as a seamstress. She retired and settled in Vineland, NJ finding joy in spending time and cooking for her loved ones. Every Christmas her grandchildren looked forward to eating her rice pudding and pasteles. She enjoyed shopping in down town Vineland, NJ on weekends as well as the Berlin Market. An avid Catholic who valued the importance of prayer and faith. She lived a full and joyful life. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who adored her.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.  Interment will be private.
