Philip L. Caporale, 31 of Vineland, passed away early Sunday morning as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Phil's love was playing and coaching soccer. He played soccer from age 5 through 31. He was a Vineland High School graduate, class of 1999. He played in the recreational league for the Vineland Vipers for many years until he went to high school and was a 4 year member of the VHS soccer team. At age 12, Phil was chosen to play for the South Jersey Select Team. His dream was to coach soccer and 9 years ago he became OLMA's soccer coach. This changed his life along with all the lives of "his" OLMA girls. Phil loved his OLMA girls and would do anything to help them. He could be seen at all the OLMA games, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, etc.. supporting the girls. The year 2011 marked Phil's and OLMA's 100th win. Philip was also an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed going to the games with his friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents; Betty and Lou LoGuidice, and Felix and Gladys Caporale. His Uncle Louie LoGuidice and Aunt Tina LoGuidice. Philip is survived by his loving parents, Terri (LoGuidice) and Glen Wojnar of Vineland, and Phil and Linda (Mayda) Caporale of Millville. His sister, Ashley Wojnar of Framingham, Mass. and his brother Dominick Caporale at home. Also by his aunts, Carole LoGuidice of Minotola and Toni DuVilla and husband Randy of Millville. His uncles, Don Rockholt of Cocoa Beach, Fl. and Clyde Bridges of Millville. And by his cousins; Adrianna LoGuidice, Kristy Rockholt Seher, Annie Rockholt, Donald Lee Gelsleichter, Kellye DuVilla, Brittani and husband Mike Potts and their daughters Carley and Lexi. Phil is also survived by many, many friends especially his best friend Mike Ciociola and all the OLMA family. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25th at 10:00 am from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
