Radames "Ray" Gonzalez-Ruiz, age 69, of Landisville, was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Tomas and Ana R. (Ruiz) Gonzalez and moved to Vineland at 7 years old.

Ray was a machine operator for Progresso Foods for over 10 years. Ray had a green thumb and loved his plants, raising chickens and pigeons. He also loved his cats dearly. He always loved going on cruises with his girlfriend Elizabeth. Ray attended Prayer Warriors Church on N. Valley Ave. in Vineland.

He was predeceased by his mother Ana Rosa Ruiz and father, Tomas Gonzalez and also by his sister Esther Gonzalez.

Survivors include his loving companion for over 16 years, Elizabeth Andino, and his sister, Norma Gonzalez. One nephew, Tomas Ruiz and his niece Maggie Delvalle and his little nephew Antonio. Along with his son Radames Gonzalez and 6 grandchildren.

Family and friends may gather from 6:00-8:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, on Thursday, May 19th, 2022. Burial will be private.
