Rafael Diaz Jr., age 33 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

Rafael was born in Vineland to Lycett (Perez) and the late Rafael Diaz Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Vineland.  He worked as a heavy construction laborer with the Local Union #172 for the past 6 years.  Rafael enjoyed riding motorcycles and most especially sharing time with his family and friends.

Rafael is survived by his mother, Lycett Jimenez of Vineland.  His fiancé, Glorimar Soto of Vineland.  His 5 children; Ayanna, Rafael III, Yazalyn, Le'Naya and Julius.  He is also survived by 2 brothers; Ricardo Perez and Thomas Perez, both of Vineland, and 3 sisters; Christina Diaz and husband Jose Matos of Landisville, Mia Peyton of Warner Robins, GA and Brianna Peyton of Landisville.  Also by his maternal grandmother, Irene Rodriguez and paternal grandfather Juan Diaz, both of Vineland.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28 ^th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
