Raul Perez
September 5th, 1945 - December 2nd, 2023

Born of Natalio Perez & Felicita Mendez in Mayaguëz, Puerto Rico on September 5, 1945.

Beloved brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Raul grew up between Mayaguëz and Anasco, Puerto Rico. He then relocated with his family to New Jersey in the 1980's. He can be remembered riding his bike for leisure throughout Vineland. Raul enjoyed family gatherings, playing dominos, story-telling, singing and cooking. He was passionate, fierce, a jokester and boasted an infectious laugh.

Raul is survived by Sara, his partner of over thirty years. He also leaves behind his children, Raul (Alex), Wanda, Adalberto, and step-children Rosa, Eddie, Beatriz and Sammy; as well as two sisters Milagros and Elsie, and his four brothers in Puerto Rico. His legacy will be carried on through his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

When you think of Raul, celebrate the good memories you have with him. Live on with purpose, intent and passion. Value time with loved ones and cherish the little things.

Family and friends may gather for the viewing on Thursday evening, Dec. 7th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, and again on Friday afternoon from 3:00-4:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Nacido de Natalio Pérez y Felicita Méndez en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico el 5 de septiembre de 1945.

Raúl creció entre Mayagüez y Anasco, Puerto Rico. Luego se mudó con su familia a Nueva Jersey en los años 80.

Se le puede recordar paseando en bicicleta por placer por Vineland. Disfrutaba de las reuniones familiares, jugar dominó, contar cuentos, cantar y cocinar. Era apasionado, feroz, bromista y contaba con una risa contagiosa.

Le sobrevive Sara, su compañera desde hace más de treinta años. También deja a sus hijos, Raúl (Alex), Wanda, Adalberto y su hijastros Rosa, Eddie, Beatriz y Sammy; así como dos hermanas Milagros y Elsie, y sus cuatro hermanos en Puerto Rico. Su legado continuará a través de sus numerosos nietos y bisnietos.

Cuando pienses en Raúl, celebra los buenos recuerdos que tienes con él. Viva con propósito, intención y pasión. Valora el tiempo con tus seres queridos y valora las pequeñas cosas.

Familiares y amigos pueden reunirse para ver la velación el jueves 7 de diciembre por la noche de 6:00 - 8:00 pm. en la funeraria Wainwright-Bernhardt, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, y nuevamente el viernes por la tarde de 3:00 - 4:00pm horas en el tanatorio. El entierro será privado.
