Raul Velez Jr. age 50, of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Genesis HealthCare, Cape May Court House.

Raul was born in Brooklyn, NY to Raul and Lucy (Roman) Velez Sr. and he lived in Vineland most of his life. Raul was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1984. He was a Lineman for Vineland Electric Company for 15 years. Raul enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, golf and sports. He was an avid Eagles fan.

Survivors include his three loving children, Michael Velez and fiancé Francesca Mancuso of Newfield, Christopher Velez of Pennsylvania and Ana Velez of Vineland, and three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Cameron and Noah. Also his parents, Raul and Lucy Velez Sr. of Vineland, his brother, Richard Velez and wife Christine of Upper Deerfield and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23 ^rd 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Pastor Freddy Jara officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM in the funeral home.
