Raymond H. Davidson, age 77 of Carney's Point (formerly of Vineland) passed away on Wednesday, October 31 in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Raymond was born in Vineland to the late Raymond H. and Inez (Carlton) Swartz Davidson and lived in Vineland before moving to Carney's Point. Ray was employed in the trade of Printing, where he worked for several companies. He also was the Custodian for the Salem County Sportsman Club in Carney's Point. He was also a courier for Harvest Bank of Pennsville. Ray was a member of the Wild Turkey Federation, NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed fishing, having belonging to several Bass Clubs and also enjoyed NASCAR. Ray was predeceased by his brother William D. Swartz. Survivors include two sons, Raymond H. Davidson III and his wife Patricia of Scottsdale, Ariz. And Stephen Davidson and his wife Mary of Baltimore, Md. Also granddaughter, Ryan Davidson of Tucson, Ariz. Three sisters, Inez Longbottom of Charlotte, NC, Doris Koering of Pittsgrove and Sandra Jones and her husband Kenneth of Vineland. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 23rd at the Salem Sportsman Club, Route 40 Carney's Point, NJ during the gathering between 7:00-9:00 pm. Inurnment will be private.
