IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca M.
Agronsky
February 17, 1959 – January 25, 2024
Rebecca Mindy Agronsky (maiden name Soifer) known as Becky to her close friends and family passed away at 64 years old at 5:16 am on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
She was born and lived out her life as a resident of Vineland, New Jersey. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family after a prolonged battle with Cancer. Prior to this she was a two time cancer survivor having previously beaten Leukemia and Breast Cancer. She was an amazing mom who always thought of her children first, a loving wife, adored relative to her close and distant family, a doting grandmother and an incredible friend to all who knew her.
Rebecca was born to parents Mark Soifer of Chester, Pennsylvania and Toby Barenfus of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her loving husband Joshua Agronsky, her daughter Talia Colon, her son John Burkhart, her many grandchildren, her sisters Jessica Albertson and Rachel Soifer, her brother David Soifer, and her mother Toby Soifer. Affectionately known as "Bubba", her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother to her eight grandchildren Avia Ruiz, Edwin Colon III, Anelie Colon, Benjamin Burkhart, Nicolas Burkhart, Daria Agronsky, Delilah Agronsky, and Emmeline Agronsky.
She joins her father Mark Soifer in eternal heavenly rest.
Rebecca graduated from Vineland High School in 1977 and became a nurse shortly after. She returned to complete her BSN at Wilmington University while working full time. She married her husband Josh on June 11th of 2000. Becky worked as an Operating Room nurse at Newcomb Medical Center and Inspira Medical Center in Vineland for over 40 years. She was an active member of her local Jewish Community and regularly attended services at Temple Beth Hillel in Carmel. In her free time, Becky enjoyed traveling, learning about new cultures, trying new things, tending to her garden and numerous indoor plants, attending Broadway shows and concerts, and taking road-trips with her husband in their camper.
Becky leaves behind a legacy of love and countless warm memories shared by family and friends.
