Richard M. Caron, age 82 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada to the late Jean-Baptiste and Anna Marie (Vaillancourt) Caron, Rich immigrated to the USA at the age of 26 and has been a long-time resident of Vineland, NJ. After earning his trade degree, he worked as an electrical startup engineer, traveling worldwide with various companies throughout his career.

In his younger years, Rich enjoyed playing ice hockey and tennis and more recently golf. He loved to travel with his wife, Eve and looked forward to dining out with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed yardwork. Rich was always happy to lend a hand to everyone, helping and fixing whatever was needed, and sharing his kindness and patience along the way. Above all, Rich truly cherished the time he shared with his family.

He was predeceased by his daughter Randi Ward and by his 2 sisters; Ginnette Caron and Huguette Caron.

Rich is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Eve Caron of Vineland. Two children; Ami Carter (Michael) of Newfield and Ryan Asselta (Marilin DeJesus) and by his former daughter-in-law Charmaine Bowen (John). He was Pop-pop to 7 grandchildren; Matthew, Bradley, Casey, Carly, Natalie, Kelly and Valerie and to 6 great-grandchildren; Andrew, Gianna, Bryce, Nico, Eva and Camilla. Rich will also be lovingly remembered by his 3 sisters; Suzanne Fontaine (Paul), Nicole Caya (Rene) and Johanne Caron (Serge Lariviere) all of Québec, Canada and by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 22 ^nd at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Pastor Jim Bry officiating. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00, prior to the service. Rich's final resting place will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mausoleum, at a later date.
