Risolina Torres Colon, age 85 of Landisville, NJ, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Risolina was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Torres and Narcisa Cruz. She worked as a seamstress with DeRossi & Son Clothing. While raising her family, Risolina was a dedicated stay at home mom who also cared for and babysat neighborhood children and loved being surrounded by them. She was known by everyone as "Mama". She enjoyed crocheting while watching Novelas and shopping at Boscov's. Mama loved to cook and garden but above all she treasured the time she shared with her family.

She was predeceased by her siblings; Adelson "Tony" Torres Cruz, Iris "Gogo" Margarita Torres Cruz and Carmen "Marta" Maria Torres Cruz.

Risolina is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Carlos Colon. Her 2 children; Rosie Colon and her husband Eddy Cuello and Juan "Charlie" Colon and his wife Jackie. She was a loving grandmother of Kaitlyn Cuello, Adrian "Andy" Cuello, Abigail Cuello, Caeden Colon, Mason Colon and Saige Colon and great-grandmother to Cristiano Cuello.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 19th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather for the viewing on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm and again on Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 am, at the funeral home.
