Robert M. Haas, age 64 of Pittsgrove, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Friday, May 27, 2016.

Bobby was born in Vineland to Doris (Archer) and the late Lawrence Haas, he was raised in Millville and a graduate of Millville Senior High School.  He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the former Newark College of Engineering, now known as NJIT.  Bobby worked as a biomed technician and later became the Director of Purchasing with Salem Community Hospital for many years, he was currently employed by Cooper Medical Center of Camden in the Capital Purchasing Department.  Bobby had a love of the outdoors and was an active member of the D.C. Rod and Gun Club of Shamong  Twp., NJ. where he enjoyed hunting.  He could also be seen surf fishing on the beach in Sea Isle City all summer long.  When not outdoors, he could always be found "taking a Bobby" in his favorite chair.  Most of all, Bobby was that special someone in the family who loved to share laughter and love with all.  He was everyone's "Uncle Bobby" and "Best Friend".

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Teresa (Matteucci) Haas of Pittsgrove.  His two cherished children; Michael L. Haas of Pittsgrove and his girlfriend Kate Sino, and Catherine E. Haas of Westfield and her boyfriend Lou Eliades.  Bobby is also survived by his mother, Doris Haas of Vineland, and 3 siblings; Patricia Izzo and her husband Dr. Joseph of California, Sharon Goffredi and her husband Robert of Vineland, and Larry Haas and his wife Linda of Newfield.  Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may gather from 10:00 – 11:00 am Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with a memorial service to follow.
