Robert A. Haugen Jr., age 30 of Minotola, passed away after a sudden illness, on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the Capital Health Center, Trenton. Robert was born in Vineland to Robert A. and Deborah (Bachman) Haugen Sr. and was a resident of Minotola all of his life. He was a graduate of Buena Regional High School, Class of 2000, where he played Varsity Football for all 4 years. Robert was also a graduate of Cape May County Police Academy and a former police officer for Buena Borough and the Emergency Management Deputy of Buena Borough. He was a member of the Lutheran Redeemer Church of Vineland, an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and sharing time with family and friends. Robert also enjoyed perfecting family recipes. He was predeceased by his father Robert A. Haugen Sr. in 2008. Robert is survived by his loving mother, Deborah B. Haugen of Minotola. His sister, Lauren A. Haugen of Minotola and his nephew Emilio Robert Floriani of Minotola. Also by his Maternal Grandmother, Gladys Bachman of Edgewater, Florida, brother-in-law, Albert Floriani of Minotola and many uncles, aunts and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Gary N. Stiegler officiating. Burial will be private. Viewing hours are on Tuesday, from 9:00-11:00am at the Church.
